I remote into my client, I start working in QuickBooks and when I go to type a number it enters a special
characters, this has happened numerous times and I have to continually ask the client to reboot the computer
so I can continue to work, very annoying, concerned with possibly losing a client, any advise from any and all of you.

Did this just start happening recently?
Does the data entry problem only happen with this one program?
Can you tell us what operating system is in use with QuickBooks, as well as the GoToMyPC software version installed upon it?
This could be tif you are using app based keyboard. Can you try to change the keyboard type from QWERTY to international US ? This will work for virtual keyboard.
