There is no way to change a Panelist to be an Attendee.
GoTo, please take this as a suggestion to improve GoToWebinar by allowing us to change the status of a Panelist to become an Attendee.
I have experience with this, because I have accidentally promoted the wrong person to be a Panelist, then I am stuck with them in the wrong list. This is easy to do as people are joining the webinar, I right click on someone, and just before I click the order in the list changes because new people join.
