Firefox Support
We have a customer, who complained about gotowebinar.
User requirements: Firefox only without download. From this customer we learnt:
1. Firefox support insufficient
This website confirms that Firefox does not support sound, when watched within the browser. This insufficient support is a bit surprising. Do you plan to change this?
2. Communication is insufficient
When customers receive their invitation after registering, system requirements are provided. However, there is no mention of it that sound cannot be played. I find this for customers misleading.

Welcome to the Community cs_webinar It can be a bit complicated. Here's a rundown:
- Standard webinars require Windows and Mac users to join though our software, the browser is only used to download and launch the software. Linux and ChromeBooks attendees are the only ones automatically directed to join a standard webinar in browser, and Chrome is the browser required.
- Webcasts are different from standard webinars, all attendees join in the supported web browsers including Firefox, they can hear the presenter's audio but they cannot be promoted to panelist or co-organizer and they cannot be unmuted
- If you only need your attendees to join without downloading any software and they do not need to be unmuted or made presenter, you should use a webcast.
