See Poll Results as Presenter

Hi there,

when i´m the presenter (not the organizer) and sharing my screen, why am i not able to see a poll? Or more important the poll result? It is  necessary for my presenter to respond on the results but its not working, they can´t see the results.

This Problem only occours on Windows machines by the way, when the presenter is using a mac it works fine!

Is there any way to fix this problem?

Thanks!

Jan

Re: See Poll Results as Presenter

Right-- that term can apply to Panelists or Organizers, but only Organizers can currently launch and 'see' the Polling questions.

This problem still has not been solved and it is a serious handicap for the presenter!

Hi @JanSteinke

If you are the Presenter in the webinar you will see the Poll results in the GoToWebinar control panel as they come in, and the totals before you close the Poll and share the results.

Re: See Poll Results as Presenter

We tried this on multiple occasions, but the Presenter in the webinar can not see the Poll results in the GoToWebinar control panel as they come in, and the Presenter can not see the totals before the organiser closes the Poll and shares the results.  Only pannelists and the organiser can see this, but  the Presenter can NOT.

Re: See Poll Results as Presenter

Polling results are considered private to Organizers until they are shared with the entire audience.  Once this is done then all Panelists will be able to see the polling results.

Re: See Poll Results as Presenter

It appears the OP said the Panelists and Organizers can see the polling data, but the Presenter cannot.  Earlier the OP said this is a Windows problem, but not a problem on the Mac.

Re: See Poll Results as Presenter

Presenters can NOT see the poll questions and they can NOT see the results, unlike the audience. This is very unpractical, and currently the only solution seems to be to make the presenter organiser, which is obviously something we would like to avoid.

Re: See Poll Results as Presenter

Thanks for your patience everyone.  We have reproduced this behavior internally on some Windows machines and will work to resolve it as soon as possible.  Once the Organizer shares the polling results, both Mac and Windows Panelists should be able to see them.

Re: See Poll Results as Presenter

Any update on this? We have a regular presenter who likes to use polls to gauge the level of the audience, but can't see the results so we have to read them back to him.

Re: See Poll Results as Presenter

@LLL1  Is this presenter a Panelist or Organizer themselves?
