Can't control mouse on desktop from my android phone

I have recently been unable to move the mouse on my phone to control my desktop.   I called logmein and they told me there was an update to the program and to reinstall the app on my phone.  I still cannot control the mouse on my phone the way I used to be able to.   Before I could move the screen around to where I wanted the mouse.  Now, I need to double click on the mouse and move it that way.  Unfortunately, my finger needs to be on the mouse the entire time and it is almost impossible to see where I need to click.    Logmein suggested I put this problem to the community since they are not able to help me with problems on mobile devises.
