Choose between "Cell" or "VoIP" on a per-call basis from phone app
I found the setting that lets me choose whether to place calls through my cell provider or over the internet. Is there a way to select this option on a per-call basis? When I used a big competitor, I could choose my calling method each time I made a call, which was really helpful. Since I’m often moving in and out of the office, I’d prefer not to dig into my settings every time.Inbound Caller ID from Contacts List
I'm using the Android app. If an inbound call is coming from a phone number belonging to a contact in any of my contacts list, I'd like that person's name to be displayed from my contacts list, overriding the generic caller ID information. It sure would be nice to have an audible beep sound on your computer speakers when there are users waiting in queue. Mitel Contact Center interface had this feature and it was very helpful for users whom are multi tasking to know there are callers waiting in queue. This would be nice to have on a Dashboard Computer when the queue reaches a curtain number of callers in queue to Alert the entire Call Center when Queue is being overrun by callers. We need to be able to zoom into photos / images that are received via MMS within the goto connect app. Currently we are forced to download or take screenshots so that we can perform this process. This is not practical also not all received images/photos need to be downloaded instead just looked at and discarded. Please give us the option to just zoom in/out of an image within goto. The GoTo app for my work number is on my phone, and I'd like to be able to set automatic working hours - I should be able to set my preferred hours for Do Not Disturb (like only during my non-working hours). And then I'd like for it to turn off when I'm in the office every day. When a client joins a meeting, I share my screen and need them to sign forms at the end, I can only give mouse control if they are on a laptop or computer but I need to be able give this access to phone users as well. Please add this feature for people joining a meeting through the app on their phone.Add the option to specify who appears in the app directory versus the dial-by-name directory.
I wanted to address some necessary improvements for the GoTo Connect directory. Our users rely on the apps and not on dialing by name or number. The directory needs to be more customizable, allowing us to specify who should appear in the app directory versus the dial-by-name directory. We require a more detailed way to manage directory entries and search functionalities, both within the app and by name. Our phone system includes many extensions named for internal management purposes, which might not be intuitive for external callers or staff who are familiar with different naming conventions. This issue has been present for some time, and I have noticed other posts discussing similar shortcomings of the directory. As a workaround, we have been using shared contacts, but these do not automatically update when extensions change. Thank you for considering this matter.
