Daily Schedule for Do Not Disturb
The GoTo app for my work number is on my phone, and I'd like to be able to set automatic working hours - I should be able to set my preferred hours for Do Not Disturb (like only during my non-working hours). And then I'd like for it to turn off when I'm in the office every day. It's one less thing to forget about until I get voicemails and missed calls every day.
Please add mouse control access to phone users through the app
When a client joins a meeting, I share my screen and need them to sign forms at the end, I can only give mouse control if they are on a laptop or computer but I need to be able give this access to phone users as well. Please add this feature for people joining a meeting through the app on their phone.Add the option to specify who appears in the app directory versus the dial-by-name directory.
I wanted to address some necessary improvements for the GoTo Connect directory. Our users rely on the apps and not on dialing by name or number. The directory needs to be more customizable, allowing us to specify who should appear in the app directory versus the dial-by-name directory. We require a more detailed way to manage directory entries and search functionalities, both within the app and by name. Our phone system includes many extensions named for internal management purposes, which might not be intuitive for external callers or staff who are familiar with different naming conventions. This issue has been present for some time, and I have noticed other posts discussing similar shortcomings of the directory. As a workaround, we have been using shared contacts, but these do not automatically update when extensions change. Thank you for considering this matter. Enhancing the regular phone system would greatly improve the experience for your customers.
Increase Text in Mobile app
I just had a customer asking if their was a way in the GoTo mobile app to increase the size of the text messages by pinching/zooming in with fingers? They are older and its hard for them to see the text with its current size. They are sick of taking screenshots of their screen and then zooming in on the screenshot. Many users that work in offices are not at their desks so it would be nice if you could assign a call park/call park retrieve icon in the app. This is a feature that RingCentral and several other hosted providers have on their mobile apps. I know you can dial a code but dialing *37+the park location is very cumbersome.
Android Auto Integrated into Mobile app
Hi, Would like to see Android Auto integrated into the mobile app. I take calls when I am out driving, and in Australia, it is an offence to handle your mobile device whilst driving. If a call comes in I have to pick up my phone to touch the answer button. This is a big no no in the land downunder!! The RingCentral app allows you to answer a call in Android Auto. Mathew
Search Engine on Texting
It would be wonderful to have a Search Engine on the texting app. We find that we have to type in the entire customer cell number and hit a period in order to just pull up a previous text, so we can review information. We need to be able to search without having to bump the messages. That way we don't have to bother the customer.
Inbound Caller ID from Contacts List
I'm using the Android app. If an inbound call is coming from a phone number belonging to a contact in any of my contacts list, I'd like that person's name to be displayed from my contacts list, overriding the generic caller ID information. It's not very helpful seeing "Wireless Caller," for somebody who is a regular contact.
MMS Image Zoom
We need to be able to zoom into photos / images that are received via MMS within the goto connect app. Currently we are forced to download or take screenshots so that we can perform this process. This is not practical also not all received images/photos need to be downloaded instead just looked at and discarded. Please give us the option to just zoom in/out of an image within goto.
