ContributionsMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: GoToAssist Agent Vulnerabilities Interesting. I wonder why the difference in installation and file location between Win 10 (Pro in my case) vs. your Win 11??? Do you have anything under: AppData\Local\Programs\LogMeIn\GoToAssist Agent Desktop Console Re: GoToAssist Agent Vulnerabilities Was already on 64-bit version of V5 desktop, version 5.9.1.101 Downloaded from your link and reinstalled 64-bit version. Same version appeared: 5.9.1.101. None of the two DLL files you listed are located at c:\program files\goto\gotoassist agent desktop console. This directory does not exist on my end. Still located at: AppData\Local\Programs\LogMeIn\GoToAssist Agent Desktop Console Re: GoToAssist Agent Vulnerabilities What version of agent(s) are you on? I have both V4 and V5 installed and I do not have the directory: c:\program files\goto . On my Win 10 computer, the DLL files you listed are stored at AppData\Local\Programs\LogMeIn\GoToAssist Agent Desktop Console Re: 2FA on Agent Console? I find with the Desktop V5 software that if, I DO NOT sign out, I can get back in without adding credentials and 2FA. However, if I Sign Out, the next time I access the desktop software, I have to input username, pass, and then the codes from my 2FA authentication app, Google Authenticator in my case. Re: Unattended access stored passwords V5 Hi Ash, I am still on V4 Desktop. Somewhat related to the OP's original question. Questions: If I upgrade to V5, will this auto push my unattended clients from V4 to V5 without any assistance on my part? Do both V4 and V5 exist on my client computers or just V5 alone? After the upgrade from V4 to V5, what occurs with all my currently stored V4 credentials, do they forward on to my clients upgraded to V5? If there is a current Q&A available to answer these and many more questions I have, I would appreciate a link to it. Many thanks. Re: Can we get the app updated to auto-login, or at least allow fingerprint login? On Android app, my username is remembered. I only have to enter my password, which I don't mind performing for the sake of security. Interesting thought though regarding finger print login. I would be curious to know how those that have been requesting 2-factor authentication would feel about auto-login - believe they would oppose this.
