I don't believe Algo horns have the scheduler built in and you can't START a GoToConnect dial plan at a schedule. If you notice, the dial plan always starts with an 'into the dial plan node', instead of starting with whatever you put as the first node. Basically, an action seems to have to initiate a dial plan rather than a dial plan self-activating off a schedule (which makes sense, since it is a dial plan). So, the Algo paging adaptor and scheduler allows you to bridge that gap. The paging adaptor part allows it to connect to your phones' intercom and also IP horns using multicast paging. The only way to sort of, kind of do this right now is to set an unavailable message, and then make sure that the user's status gets updated to away right when they leave and available when they return. If you set a temporary message, it becomes effective immediately. The user can't interact with the schedules that a Super Admin creates, at least, not that I can see. This would certainly be helpful and could operate just like we had set a dial plan that allowed that schedule to take effect. It could be a part of the find-me-follow-me section of their page. I am trying to make sure that messages that come from your voicemail email server... 1. don't get spoofed and 2. don't go into junk or quarantine. 3. don't get blocked. Since a user has two choices, receive the emails or don't, I want to make sure that if they ask to receive the emails that they actually get received in their inbox, and not in their junk or quarantine. I know that part of the issue is that you all changed the email address again to voicemail.goto.com. While the GotoConnect rep is partially correct, it can be used as a PA system. However, being able to automate requires something external to play those announcements.
