Could you please help me by sharing in which folder Veeam identified this file in? Thanks a lot! Re: Latest GoToresolve Application is awful. Hey, I'm Viktor Egri, product manager. We took a look at our reliability metrics and your issue seems to be an isolated one. Could you please reach out to care with this issue so we can take a closer look and help you? Many thanks! Viktor Re: Remote Execution cannot select multiple devices by searching / Templates missing when creating job. Hi there, Thanks for highlighting these issues, you’re absolutely right! Device Selection: We understand how important this is. We're working on bringing back the ability to search and collect devices while retaining previously selected ones. This will be first rolled out to Remote Execution and then to other parts of the product. Missing Templates when new job is created: Valid feedback! We’ve released a fix, and the templates should be accessible when creating a new job later this week, considering the update needs to propagate across all supported regions. Thanks again for your valuable feedback! Best, Viktor Re: Differentiation between Agent's ability to run updates and run scripts Dear aoibheil, Thank you for reaching out. I’m Viktor, one of the product managers for GTRe, focusing on the RMM feature set. I wanted to clarify that you do not need to have the "Remote Execution" permission enabled for your agent to perform patch management. While disabling "Remote Execution" hides this option from the agent, patch management remains fully functional as long as the patch management permission is enabled. If you have any further questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Best regards, Viktor Re: Not getting Windows Updates Thanks for the info! GoTo Resolve's Windows update module remotely commands the Windows Update Service (that locally runs on your devices) to install updates. The windows 10/11 updateerror code 0x80240438is associated with Windows Update, and it indicates that there’s a problem connecting to the Microsoft Update servers. ThisWindows 10 or 11 Update Error Code 0x80240438generally appears when you try to update your Windows operating system, and it prevents you from downloading and installing the rearmost windows updates. So the reason why we can't show any updates, just this error code, is probably because your devices can't reach the Microsoft Update servers. On Microsoft site, I found multiple threads around this topic, e.g.:https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/1479306/in-our-sccm-environment-some-machines-are-not-gett I recommend you to reach out to our support so that we can take a closer look if that thread doesn't help you! https://support.goto.com/resolve/help/how-do-i-contact-goto-resolve-customer-support Re: Not getting Windows Updates Hi, I'm Viktor Egri, product manager at GoTo Resolve. I'm here to help! Is this error code (0x80240438)shown for 1 device or for multiple devices? Re: Scripting for goto resolve Hi! Currently, running saved script is only available using Remote Execution which relies on installing the permanent applet. In ad-hoc use-cases it is not available. Could you please help me understand your use-case a bit better? Re: Installing programs to pc's through updates Dear customer! I'm Viktor Egri, one of the product managers at GoTo Resolve with an RMM focus. After we rolled out the 3rd party application feature, we identified a bug that we fixed as a follow-up feature 1-2 hours after the release. This was the bug: If you chose 2 (or more) devices, we identified all the installed software. E.g. on "Device A" there was "7zip" installed, on "Device B" there was "Malwarebytes" installed only. When GTRe installed the available patches for each of the devices, it accidentally also installed all identified software (so after the installation, both "Device A" and "Device B" had "7zip" and "Malwarebytes" installed. We fixed the issue already. It won't happen anymore. Sorry for the inconvenience!
