Unfortunately, this implementation of BitDefender is missing one very key feature. Firewall control. There is no way to adjust the firewall to allow specific traffic. To make matters worse, you can only turn it off and in doing so the client side sees a red "X" on the icon making look like there is a virus when there may not be. And, now if there were other problems it makes it harder to verify. Oh well, I was looking foward to using this AV solution. Mainly due to price and simplicity, but without firewall control, it's quite useless. Re: LogMeIn Antivirus - What AV engine runs it? I believe I have proof it's bitdefender. I had no "bitdefender.com" traffic before testing LMIAV, now I see some on network logs. So this has to be the AV engine it's using. Or at least the signature list is from there. Re: LMI AV - You are at risk warning. I agree, if it's a non-functioning part it should be disabled and no warning given. So far I'm only mildly impressed by this AV. Testing in 1 dozen stations. Most working well other than that false warning. A couple of them though will not update giving a 1008 error. Will need to try uninstall and reinstall I guess... Re: Security Code Required when User Logs on from Different Computer How do you whitelist a location? I'd love to do that for our Corporate Office IP. Re: Can't connect to client with chrome I love what Grammerly does, but it causes a lot of issues with many web sites making it extremely hard to use. Hope they get this and other issues fixed eventually. Re: Introducing Central Monitor Why does LMI keep making seperate tools, rather than adding features to a single package? Doesn't make sense. Re: LogMeIn Client Script Error Nevermind, I fixed it with a simple un-install and re-install of "ignition" as it's called on the support site. I thought Ignition was dead? Anyway, it's still here and confusing if it's the "Client" or "Ignition". I just hate that I have to resetup everything. Oh well. LogMeIn Client Script Error Hi all, I'm getting a script error every time I open a connection to the home Main Menu Dashboard in the LogMeIn Client utility. The script error shows it came from https://secure.logmein.com/ws/host/AutoLogin/autologin_clientscriptsv2.aspx Any ideas what this is and how to fix it? It doesn't appear to be causing any problems beyond the annoying pop up every time I open the Main Menu. But, I'm afraid I might run into issues at some point beyond that. Thanks
