Bandwidth is. Question: Is this setting possible to set in Central for all agents? Adjust your network connection speed to achieve optimal performance during remote control. On the Remote Control toolbar, clickOptions>Networkand selectSlowto optimize your connection on lower speed connections Re: Bring Back All Color Quality Options Has anyone quantified the data difference. In casual observation it seems significant. I did get an email from logMeIn support that says the greyscale was actualy never smaller in traffic than the low color option. If nothing else, that can't be true based on frame rate alone. There is a noticable difference. YoYoDaddy: email me: etropic at tropicdesert dot com Re: Introducing Central Monitor I assumed that this would connect to devices with agents in Central, no? It seems it's only manging devices that were locally discovered ? Re: Bring Back All Color Quality Options Does anyone have any hard numbers on the bandwidth difference? Any the actual date of the change? Re: Bring Back All Color Quality Options Add me to the list of unhappy. With 10k units over CELLULAR connections, this is a huge impact on us! Tips for Large Accounts I'd like to get some input from anyone that has a large account. I have 8000 units currently and I'd like to hear any helpful informationto help navigate problems with Central when using Large accounts. If there is valuable input, I'll aggregateit here. Split groups into < 1000 I find that 800 is a good number for groups. It seems to be the best compromise between ease of use and responsiveness. Any more and I start to get browser failures. Smaller becomes a headache for managing the total units. Use the desktop client If you need to connect to a machine, but not for O2M or alerts, use the desktop client. It is much more responsive than the web site in general, especially when opening multiple connections at once. Internal Error (19) With such a large deployment, this is bound to happen a lot. I'm open to any other ideas. Here are some that I'm curious about: Better browser? Which browsers are you using and for what reasons (related to LMI Central) Better group management Management of failed O2M tasks
