ContributionsMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsDelay in Windows Updates availability I upgraded 2 endpoints from Office 2010 to Office 2016 on the morning of 2/13/21. After the installations completed, I used the Central's Updates | Windows to select the 2 machines and then Check for Updates (after setting the machines to Download Updates for Windows and Other Microsoft software). After the check seemed to complete, there were no updates selectable for Office 2016 on these two units. I checked back a couple times over the weekend (the units were online the entire time), but still no updates were available. Monday morning (2/15/21) when I checked again, then there were something like 175 updates available for these two machines, the vast majority of which were for Office 2016. The updates seemingly installed fine at that point. Has anyone else run into a similar delay in update availability for Other Microsoft (or Windows direct) updates? One2Many task that runs based on current device IP address (or other criteria) I don't see an option for this, I don't know if I'm missing it or if the option isn't there. Basically, I'm looking at having a task run based on where it is. The specific case I'm looking at is when a device is on our local corporate network (not VPN, but physically on the LAN), that it will copy a file from our server. While the standard One2Many would be fine to push a smaller file, this is a program update file that's over 500MB and will crush our guys in the remote field (single cell circuit shared by 3-5 client computers, 10Mbps down on a good day). I was looking at alerts with an attached One2Many task as a possible way to get around this, but I couldn't find one that was based on location (essentially, 'if at this public IP address, run task'). Does anyone have any info on how to do this, or if it even can be done? Re: Bring Back All Color Quality Options Just wanted to +1 on the votes for bringing back B&W mode. We have users sharing a single cell connection in remote locations, and my go-to fix to make remote support workable was scaling back to B&W visuals. The current color setting options have worse performance on low-bandwith connections, without question. Please bring the option back.
