AI Receptionist voice recognition
We are already using the AI Receptionist. There is one feature that would make it more personable, and maybe more easily accepted. If it could recognize the voice of people that call often, or if not by voice, than maybe by the caller ID, it would sound more human. The majority of our calls are from the same small group of our customers, and when we are answering live, we aften ocknowledge familiar callers. AI seems to miss that, making it seem robotic.
Text Message Templates
I’d love to see GoTo Connect add a feature that allows users to create and save SMS text templates for frequently used messages. This would save time and improve efficiency by eliminating the need to retype common responses (e.g., “What are your store hours?” or “Here is our website”). Ooma Office had this feature, and it was extremely convenient. Adding SMS templates to GoTo Connect would make it even more user-friendly and valuable for businesses that communicate frequently via text.
AI Receptionist Billing Idea
AI Billing idea. Contract rate of 600.00 for 3,000 credits. After the credits are used they can choose: to be billed in 150.00 increments to refill 750 credits at a time. Customers can also specify how many “refills” they would like per month and can cap it to manage expenses or if they are looking to keep a fixed cost. Or after all their credits are use they could choose a pay as you go option for the rest of the month. or Customers could choose to have the AI receptionist node be skipped once all their credit is used and can route to a next node, such as a queue or ring group so the calls can be answered. Giving different options will help customers choose what will happen when all their credits are used and will potentially help customers keep their expenses fixed if desired. Thanks, Michael
International SMS
95% of our guests are from Canada or the US, but we do have a small part that come from all over the world, and we would like to be able to offer that 5% the same experience as the North Americans. As it is now, we do it manually using our personal WhatsApp and that is a pain. Global SMS request Soooo this is my long winded way of asking for the ability to send SMS messages to numbers outside the US and Canada ;-) Cheers James Levesque
Priorities by User
Currently the only option to adjust the weighting of priorities is based on queue. This may work for some companies. However, I would like to see GoTo implement call weighting per user. This works for all companies. You can have a generic set up for smaller companies that only need 1 or 2 queues. For a company trying to tier their call structures this allows us to give certain users a higher or lower priority for specifical call types. Additionally an added function should be job title profiles. Most other phone systems this is a specific skill. If I assign Account creation skill to a user it automatically puts them into the 3 intended queues with the specific weights to calls through those queues. Again this tailors to companies who hire 5-30 people at a time and assigning a skill is much easier than assigning each user 3-5 queues.
Proposal for Enhanced Call Monitoring Capabilities in GoTo
To improve our ability to assist customers effectively, we would like GoTo to implement enhanced call monitoring capabilities, even when calls are forwarded outside the GoTo platform. Specifically, we request that GoTo’s AI Optimization continue monitoring and generating reports on calls transferred to our AI virtual voice agents. This would allow us to ensure that customer inquiries are being handled properly and provide valuable insights into their experience. Our preferred solution is for GoTo’s AI to maintain oversight of forwarded calls, as we are already developing a system for AI-driven customer interactions. However, we would also like to explore whether GoTo has plans to integrate AI virtual voice agents directly into its platform. If this functionality is on the roadmap, we would appreciate details on expected availability and capabilities. By implementing these features, GoTo can help us maintain a seamless customer experience while leveraging AI-driven solutions to optimize service quality.
Real-time translation for calls on mobile app GoTo on iPhone

Ringtone Changes (mute or lower volume)
Our office uses AirPods as headsets in conjunction with GoTo Connect on our phones. Even after adjusting the ringer on the phone, going through phone settings and GoTo settings, each time I get a GoTo call it blows my ear drums out. Has anyone experienced the same thing or found a solution to this? I called support and they told me that there is no way to change or turn off the ringtone at this time.
Exporting PBX Data
We need to have the ability to export all of the tables that are found in the PBX to a CSV file. The button exists in the "Users" tab, but is not found anywhere else. Someone within my company just asked me if I could provide a list of phone numbers and where they are routed to and I am simply unable to accomplish that task. I desperately need this function at least in the "Phone Numbers" tab of the PBX.
