Does anyone know a way to search by Computer Name? Within the Computers sectoion of Logmein Central, we can view all of the computers in each of our locations but there doesn't seem to be a way to search the Computer Name. Not the logmein name but the actual name of the pc itself.

Hello,
Are you wondering if there is a way to search for the computer name instead of the “computer description,” which is essentially the LogMeIn name of the computer? If so, there is currently not a way to search for this. Also, you can create a customer field on the computers page (click here) but you will have to input the data manually on this field for each computer. You can always submit a feature request from your Central account by clicking Settings > Share an idea.
Thank you!
Dylan

Hello! In our office it is very commom for multiple employees to share the same computer, each of them having their individual 'user login' info. In that cenario , I would like to be able to view the 'user login' and 'IP' information on the LogMeIn Client screen. That way, it would be faster to provide a service or locate a computer

This seems like it might be a useful field to be able to add to the detail view.
I also have techs putting the computer name into the description and the alert title. This makes text alerts show the computer name three times.
It is good that someone has already been requested it and I am sure that they are on top of it.

Open Active Directory Users and Computers. Navigate to the domain node, right-click, and select Properties. Click the Group Policy tab and select Edit, In the GPO Editor window, expand the User Configuration node, select Software Installation, right-click, choose New, and then For Agents Only choose Package

Thanks to all those replying to an 11 year old feature request post. It has been getting a quite the number of posts lately.
Unfortunately, if you read the actual thread you will see that they have just recently confirmed that after 11 years there is still have a chance that they may consider the request some time in the future.
Also, the last three posts did not actually relate to the original post and are attempting to poorly answer an unrelated post. Perhaps some mod could move the last four posts to their own thread where someone has a chance of finding and answering that question and those following this thread can continue to wait patiently through the years in case they decide to consider the original request.
