Mac CLI commands

Are there cli command options similar to the command below to regenerate the self signed certificates for logmein client running MacOS?  Some of our clients are showing up on our vulnerability scans with weak certificates.

"Servers that use SSL/TLS certificates signed with a weak SHA-1, MD5, MD4 or MD2 hashing algorithm will need to obtain new SHA-2 signed SSL/TLS certificates to avoid web browser SSL/TLS certificate warnings."

Windows Command

logmein cert -createsssc

  • Hi dsekleybrs welcome to the GoTo Community.  There is no cli command option on Mac similar to the ones like on Windows. In our next release there will be a fix that will rectify this issue.  I don't have an update yet on when the release is, but we will update the Community when it's available.

Hi jlbrown, sorry for the frustration. We had to reprioritize some work last year, but are working to update to OpenSSL v3.0 currently.

So almost 1 year on, do we have a CLI that we can use fix the certificate "SSL Certificate Signed Using Weak Hashing Algorithm" issue on Macs?
