Any Update on Ringtone Options in the GoTo Connect Mobile App?

Is there any update on adding ringtone options to the GoTo Connect mobile app? This has been a long-standing request, and it's something that would seriously improve the user experience. We're not asking for custom tones... just a few built-in alternatives to the default.

The current ringtone is jarring. After hearing it every day for years, it honestly makes you want to pull your hair out. We've had the same feedback from clients we support and onboarded with GoTo Connect.

We're a long-time GoTo partner and have deployed the platform across multiple businesses. This one issue keeps coming up from our clients, and we're running out of ways to explain why it hasn't been addressed.

Can you confirm if this feature is on your roadmap? If so, when can we expect it to be available? If not, why hasn't it been prioritized? What would it take to escalate this to your development team?

Appreciate any clarity you can share and hope to see the various ringtone option settings in the new GoTo Connect mobile app build.

    Hi gotoconnectuser, thank you for the feedback, it has been shared with the team. At this time it is too early for us to provide an ETA for this request. Once we are confident of a release date we will update the Community Idea which will automatically notify everyone who has commented and voted for it.

    Thanks for the reply, but we need a more specific update than “on the roadmap.”

    This request - for a few built-in ringtone alternatives in the GoTo Connect mobile app - has been out there for over two years. It’s one of the most upvoted and discussed topics in your forums. We hear the same frustration from our clients, many of whom use the app every day. The default ringtone is jarring and repetitive. Without any other options, it becomes a daily annoyance.

    We’ve been a GoTo partner for over seven years and have deployed the platform across many businesses. This issue keeps coming up, and we’re out of ways to explain why it still hasn’t been addressed. It’s not a complex feature, and it would significantly improve the user experience.

    At this point, we’re asking for a clear, committed timeline. When will this feature be added to the mobile app? If there’s a blocker, tell us what it is. Otherwise, we ask that this be escalated and prioritized. Our clients deserve better answers, and so do your other users.
