Audio Dropout Issues During Meeting – Seeking Advice

Hi,

We hosted a meeting last month, and the audio from our colleague in Colombia kept cutting out throughout the session. According to the Meeting Diagnostics, there was significant packet loss on the audio side.

After testing with the same colleague a few days later, the network experience was smooth with no issues.

Could anyone share possible reasons for these audio dropouts, and any advice on how to avoid similar problems in the future?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

EP_M What you described in your post and what the other post is talking about are not the same. As you mentioned the Meeting Diagnostics showed "significant packet loss on the audio side" in the session where your colleague experienced issues, but then the next meeting was fine.

    Hi, thanks for your response.

I came across this post and found that the issue described here is quite similar to what we experienced. Audio stops working after sometime | GoTo Community

Do you think this could be the same underlying problem?

Would it help if I provide more detailed information for further investigation? Let me know if you need any specific details.

    Thanks!

    Hi EP_M,

Poor network performance, lack of memory, or high CPU usage often causes the audio quality to drop, become delayed or sound robotic. When this happens you can try the following:

From your description is appear that one of the carriers/networks your colleague was routed through temporarily experienced some service degradation which caused packet loss.
