powerpoint presenter view sharing issue

I have been a GoTo customer for 10 years. This is a new issue.

 

When I share a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation on a GoTo Meeting, it does not share the "slideshow view". Instead, it shares the normal powerpoint view only (essentially what you see when you're editing a powerpoint). This feels like a massive oversight from GoTo, maybe as a result of a compatability incongruency between the two platforms? It would be very helpful if someone from the GoTo engineering team reviewed this question and provided an update, as I'm sure others are dealing with this.

 

I never have similar issues with Zoom or Teams

    Hi GraceandLu welcome to the GoTo Community,

     

    If you select "Share Application" attendees will only see the actions you take with that application. If you select "Share Screen"  attendees will see whatever view you choose in PowerPoint. 

     
    Can you provide the steps you are taking to share the screen, set-up (are you using just a computer or computer and monitor)  and type of device you are using so I can replicate your experience? Thanks.
