Audio problem in video in presenters PowerPoint presentation
Hi!
My presenter in my last webinar played a short video embedded in her PowerPoint presentation, but although the mp4 video itself was good quality, we couldn't hear the audio. It was muffled and inaudible in places. Unfortunately she added the video at the last minute, so I wasn't made aware during our Technical/practice run. The video plays perfectly in the stand alone PowerPoint, and I've also played the video separately in a test webinar and it is good. She says it works perfectly in Teams and Zoom. We are still using the Classic GTW. Have you any advice/suggestions?
Thanks!
Hi LindaMDP,
Nice to see you. Thanks for the details in your post.
With Classic GoTo Webinar, computer audio isn’t shared directly—participants hear only what the presenter’s microphone picks up from the speakers. To improve this, we introduced the “share video” feature, so you can upload videos in advance and share them with your audience for the best quality.
If you’re using the new GoTo Webinar experience in the GoTo app, you have the option to share computer audio directly. Just check the “Share computer audio” box when you’re selecting what to share from the screen sharing menu.
