I have tested this multiple times in test scenarios.
Not sure why this is such a hard problem to fix. This feature worked fine in the original version. It is taking an excessive amount of time to address this issue.

I've broken this out into it's own discussion as it relates to the new GoTo App experience, not Classic GoTo Webinar.
I currently do not have a time line for when this will be addressed, but I am checking with the team.

Is there any update on the issue of polls not showing up in the recording in the new GoTo app? We want to change over to the new look, but can't until this issue is fixed.

Hi LindaMDP,
I don't have an update yet, but the team is aware this needs to be updated. We are currently sharing feedback on the new experience internally and have stressed the need for polls to be in the recording.
Please keep an eye on the thread, we will update when we learn more.
