PowerPoint presentation in Slideshow mode

Dear community, is it possible to show a PowerPoint presentation in Slideshow mode and still have visibility of the GoTo Webinar interface? Or do I need another solution such as two monitors? If two monitors are required, do I need each to be as separate panelist identity?

  • Thank you very much KateG, appreciate the tips here and I've signed up for the expert sesson. I resolved this issue within PowerPoint by going to 'Slide Show', 'Set up Slideshow', and changing show type from 'presented by a speaker (full screen)' to 'browsed by an individual (window)'.

    Hi LinusG

If you share your screen with the Presentation in Slideshow, you should still be able to see the GoTo Webinar interface. Can you tell me a bit more about the set-up and how you are using PowerPoint?

Having two monitors is ideal, especially if you are looking to view presenter notes. Having an additional monitor won't affect your panelist, let me know if I'm not understanding this.

So I understand what you are looking at can you tell me:

    • Are using the classic version of GoTo Webinar or the new app?
    • Are you on Windows or a Mac?
    • Are you using Pop-out Mode?
    • Are you using a browser-based version of PowerPoint or is the app?

Also, you should test the Webinar in Practice Mode before you start, if you haven't already, it helps to run through it before the big day.
