Call Pick Up Button Configuration

Our previous VoIP system allowed to have a button be simultaniously a pick up or speed dial.  That is the ideal.

Currently I was told I can only configure a button to be a pickup with a * code and it cannot function at the same time as a speed dial.  I am ok, but if there is an office with several phones and you want to use a button as a pickup, you need to be able to tell who's phone is ringing audibly.  In other systems an incoming call is indicated on the display either by flashing the button or changing the display.

I would like to see a button indicate a call is ringing on a line and then use the button to pick up the call...and if possible to use the same button as a speed dial would be awesome.  I know it is done in other VoIP systems.

I use that code on almost every install. It is a bit of a pain to have to login to every phone to set this. Can't we get it just added to the provisioning of at least Yealink profiles?

    Hi nhammer

Thanks for visiting the Community. I shared this with the team, they provided this feedback:

It is possible to do that with select handsets. As an example, on Yealink T54W, this can be done manually from the handset by adding the *97 code to key or set up by our helpdesk by updating config parameters for all handsets.
