Default Phone Programming & Button Copy-Paste Functionality
It would be great if there was a feature to set default standard programming for different model phones so as soon as the phone is registered to the account then the button programming would get pushed automatically. It would be wonderful to have a Search Engine on the texting app. We find that we have to type in the entire customer cell number and hit a period in order to just pull up a previous text, so we can review information. Hi, I would love to see support in GoTo for Grandstream's line of various ATA models. We use these extensively for fax and analogue services for customers due to their reliability and feature set. Currently I have to manually provision these with SIP credentials, which necessitates a call to GoTo support every time I need to make a change to one of the units. I would love to see these added to the provisioning system, as they appear to have the ability to input a provisioning URL, the same as all the other supported grandstream devices. These are the models I would be interested in: HT801 - 1 Port FXS Adapter HT802 - 2 Port FXS Adapter HT812 - 2 Port FXS Gateway (With Router) HT814 - 4 Port FXS Gateway (With Router) HT818 - 8 Port FXS Gateway (With Router) In addition I would also be interested in model GXW4224V2, which is a 24 FXS port gateway, but this runs fairly different software to the smaller units. Currently the agent can select a reason they are pausing yet as a supervisor I cant see any breakdown of those options, so why have them? The only good this does if the supervisor is watching the queue LIVE and can see the reasons there and only there. We would like to see a break down of pauses reasons selected by the agent. On the legacy PBX, you could easily swap out or remove a device's assigned hardware by going to the Device profile, clicking the Hardware tab, and accessing a drop down menu. This is useful for when a customer wants to change the model of phone, change to softphone only, or if the phone is having issues and it is more convenient to swap the phone out for the same model and troubleshoot it or request an RMA later. This is useful because then I do not have to go in and redo the Button Configuration on the new hardware, saving time for me and more importantly the end user. I do not see a way to do this on the new system at all. I can change the model if when programming I accidentally put the wrong model in, but I cannot remove or change the MAC address. There is also no indication that my Button Configuration will be saved and applied as best as possible to the new hardware like the legacy PBX does. The new interface has the supervisor dashboard showing the word Ready but the GoTo 0.574.0 4.12.2 user interface has it showing as Available. How about we be consistant and use Ready for both. So the Supervisor Interface when user is paused says Forced but GoTo 0.574.0 4.12.2 user interface shows user as Away. Now we don't want users using Away as an option so Forced was perfect. Now all of our users have been using Away which we don't want as a selection status. How about we keep Forced as is and change the user interface back to it so that users don't think it is an away from desk function. Currently when uploading contacts for an individual user via CSV file, the contacts import but only as shared contacts. This means for a person in our company trying to upload their personal contacts, they immediately get shared with the entire company and clutter everyone's contacts. Please make an option so that when you upload contacts for an individual user, it uploads to Private Contacts instead of Shared Contacts, or at least give the option to the user to upload to either. This is a royal pain for users who are trying to get their contacts into GoTo App and don't want to or can't use Outlook.
