Sync contacts with another CRM via API

Hello!

I’m new to developing with GoTo and would like to know if it’s possible to sync GoTo Connect contacts with another CRM using the API.

The idea is: when a client sends a message, GoTo would trigger an API call to the external CRM to create a new lead (using its “Leads” endpoint). We’d also like to link the contact in GoTo so users can open the corresponding CRM record directly — similar to how the Salesforce integration works.

I understand it’s not possible to render a custom button in the interface, but I could store the CRM link in a custom field within the GoTo contact.

Is there currently any way to achieve this through GoTo’s public APIs or webhooks?

    I’ll definitely keep an eye on the Community Ideas board once it’s available.
    This would be a really helpful feature for us.

    Hi th2106, after some consultation this is not really possible with our current API. If there is enough customer interest for this it can be added to our development roadmap. We are experiencing some technical issues with our community platform currently, but once they are resolved I will move this to our Community Ideas board so other customers can vote for it and show their interest.
