Before a meeting starts it shows my webcam fine, if I go into settings and test the webcam it works fine. As soon as I start a meeting the webcam is disabled.
Only way ive managed to fix this is to uninstall and reinstall. However after a restart it happens again and I have to uninstall and re install. A second Computer in the office has just started doing this.
Has anyone else had something similar?
Both computers are windows 10 and surface pro's using built in camera
Hi @MattB41
This behavior is certainly abnormal, but shows that the hardware is compatible with the newest GoToMeeting build.
Are there any webcam driver updates available through the manufacturer website?
@sdelpoio Please elaborate on a couple of things for us to help diagnose:
We ran into the same problem using Dell Optiplex 7070 micro, windows 10 and USB generic web-cam. This combo works just fine on four other 7070 small form factor pcs. The camera works fine under start - camera and GTM Settings but as soon as GTM settings is closed nothing. The icon for camera is greyed out but the audio icon is functional. We could find no settings to activate the camera. GTM was just downloaded and installed a couple weeks ago and worked fine previously.
