I haven't tested this thoroughly, but it appears that, if a poll is being shown when the presenter changes, it will automatically be closed. I don't see the reasoning behind this. Showing polls is (or would be) a good way of having something on the screen while we change presenters.
Hi,
I understand your concerns, wanting to queue up the next presenter while the audience is busy taking a poll.
The reason behind that behavior is because GoToWebinar associates each poll with the current presenter, and assumes they will finish after the poll has officially closed.
What about having a tickbox somewhere in the settings to allow the user to define the default behaviour in this case?
That could be a good idea for future enhancement considerations.
