Strange behavior: audio from user how left the session

Hi all,

something strange happened during our last session.

 

The only mic turned on was the panelist's but during his presentation all the attendees could here another voice. After some time it turns out that a Presenter left the session from his PC and joined the webinar by mobile phone (gotowebinar app). This Presenter was in the session but none of us Organizers was able to see his username and his microphone turned on.

 

We were unable to dismiss this user from the session or turn off his microphone.

 

What can we do if the problem recurs?

  • You said "by mobile phone (gotowebinar app). "  If this person used the GoToWebinar app, then the name should be in the Attendee list.

     

    If this person joined using only a telephone, and had the Panelist Access Code, then the name will not show up in the Attendee list, and you can do nothing to mute or dismiss.

      Now I understand,  the user was connected only with telephone using Panelist Code.

      This fact scares me a lot! A person connected in this way is unmanageable by Organizers...
