Any updates here? This feature does not seem to be a stable solution for Resolve. I can rerun the same task that works one day and then the next it won't work using exact same parameters. Correct, even uses the same execution script. I compared them side by side. Also, when some do complete they never report back they have completed the install and you get the spinning symbol it is still in progress, however I can confirm the application has been installed and even rebooted and still wont update back. This poses a big problem with templates, because it will not go on to the next install because the one before it never shows to complete. So, this kind of kills my use of Templates. I love the idea of them and would be very cool, but needs to be fixed.732Views1like4CommentsRemote Execution fails in Resolve
I have GoTO Resolve, just signed up a short time ago, been using LogMeIn Central for many years. I have found that the Remote execution in Resolve does not function well at all. I can run the same .exe or .msi install file in Resolve (same parameters) as I do in Central. They almost always fail in Resolve, jump to Central and installs no problem. I have tried different parameters and all but just does not seem to do what it is designed to do. Interestingly enough it may work in Resolve, go back and rerun the same script on another machine and it will fail. I am havig issues where the applications actually install but never show completed in GTR and will have the spinning bar for days. There is no way to complete and force cancel. Also, the pending wheel causes problems on my Templates because it will not go to the next install until the current is completed, which is completed on the PC, just not on the portal. Helpdesk portal only allows attachments on initial creation. The IT support can attach files all through the ticket history, but the end user can only do so when they start the ticket. The end user can add files via email throughout the ticket and seems like a flaw that they cannot do so in the ticket portal. This needs to be an option in the portal throughout the ticket history because we request screenshots if they didnt send one in initially. Please fix!161Views0likes0Comments
