Show if an attendee joined in the browser or desktop app
Please bring back the ability to see if someone has joined a session via the Web. The older version allowed you to see this right away. Since the web user cannot share keyboard/mouse control, it wastes time to find out they have joined with the web version only after they are already presenting. Or allow both sharing of All Screens and keyboard/mouse control for ALL users web and app.
Please set up a Voting-Tool in GoToMeeting
Please set up a voting possibility as it is common in Zoom or Teams. For meetings and votings in our board of directors a simple question and answer tool (yes, no, abstention) would be very usefull. As far as I know it is already implemented in GoToWebinar. So please, make it possible for GoToMeeting. All the Best
Allow users to mute individuals but just from our point of view
Please let us mute individuals during a meeting. This is not the same as muting that person for everyone in the meeting but just for the person doing the muting. This prevents two people who are next to each other in a meeting from hearing an echo of each other
Remote Control: Please allow the ESC keypress to be sent to the remote side rather than stop control
[New Goto App] Please add an alternate keypress to cancel a remote control. I don't even know why we need to cancel it! But if you really think this is needed, I beg that you provide an option to set a different shortcut-key for this - so that the ESC keypress is passed to the remote session. For me, it means that I struggle to use the Linux Text editor (vi) as it uses the ESC key to exit an edit mode. But I see from other reports that it is used in many other scenarios. A general shortcut-key mapper system that allows users to alter any of the short-cut keys that would apply during a remote-control session would be even better!
The ability to keep specific GoTo App windows in front when using Presentation mode
I miss the cameras being in front of the screen i am sharing. How about an option to keep the camera screen on top, or in front of the screen i am sharing. Moderator Edit: removed additional suggestion and updated title for clarity
Suggestions for better drawing tools
Good evening! We have been using the new GoTo Meeting stuff today. I would like to make some suggestions about the drawing tools. I would like to speak with someone regarding the size of the drawings (way too big - it felt like using a huge highlighter, even with the smallest size - I'd love a small thin line or drawing tool like the classic pen tool). We also noticed that there were no right click options, on the pen tools. Those were very handy. I used those to switch colors, flip between mouse pointer and pen, and erase all drawings. I'd love to see those come back in to play. The other item of concern was the actual drawings themselves. I felt like the new drawings were much more edgy and not as smooth (missing pieces or adding tapered ends when they weren't wanted). Anyways, I use the drawing tools a ton for my presentation. I would love to give some input there. On positive side, I did like the undo option and also the size selection. I also liked the semitransparent options. I just wish we could choose an even smaller brush size.
Polling Feature in GoToMeeting
The polling feature already exists in Webinar and Training. I think it would be great to include it in Meeting as well. My organization only uses Meeting and it is very frustrating to have to use Zoom whenever we want to poll participants. It throws off consistency and confuses people outside the organization when they don't know what platform to use. The feature already exists within the GoTo platform so I feel like copying it over shouldn't be that big of an ask. Please please consider bringing this feature over.
