[New Goto App] Please add an alternate keypress to cancel a remote control. I don't even know why we need to cancel it! But if you really think this is needed, I beg that you provide an option to set a different shortcut-key for this - so that the ESC keypress is passed to the remote session. For me, it means that I struggle to use the Linux Text editor (vi) as it uses the ESC key to exit an edit mode. But I see from other reports that it is used in many other scenarios. A general shortcut-key mapper system that allows users to alter any of the short-cut keys that would apply during a remote-control session would be even better!2.2KViews2likes8CommentsThe ability to keep specific GoTo App windows in front when using Presentation mode
I miss the cameras being in front of the screen i am sharing. How about an option to keep the camera screen on top, or in front of the screen i am sharing. Moderator Edit: removed additional suggestion and updated title for clarity1.9KViews0likes9CommentsPolling Feature in GoToMeeting
The polling feature already exists in Webinar and Training. I think it would be great to include it in Meeting as well. My organization only uses Meeting and it is very frustrating to have to use Zoom whenever we want to poll participants. It throws off consistency and confuses people outside the organization when they don't know what platform to use. The feature already exists within the GoTo platform so I feel like copying it over shouldn't be that big of an ask. Please please consider bringing this feature over.1.4KViews0likes2CommentsAllow users to mute individuals but just from our point of view
Please let us mute individuals during a meeting. This is not the same as muting that person for everyone in the meeting but just for the person doing the muting. This prevents two people who are next to each other in a meeting from hearing an echo of each other1.1KViews0likes2CommentsPlease set up a Voting-Tool in GoToMeeting
Please set up a voting possibility as it is common in Zoom or Teams. For meetings and votings in our board of directors a simple question and answer tool (yes, no, abstention) would be very usefull. As far as I know it is already implemented in GoToWebinar. So please, make it possible for GoToMeeting. All the Best334Views0likes1CommentShow if an attendee joined in the browser or desktop app
Please bring back the ability to see if someone has joined a session via the Web. The older version allowed you to see this right away. Since the web user cannot share keyboard/mouse control, it wastes time to find out they have joined with the web version only after they are already presenting. Or allow both sharing of All Screens and keyboard/mouse control for ALL users web and app.229Views0likes1CommentMute sound that accompanies pop-up notification when attendees join/leave
Hello everyone, I have an idea which I would like to share with you. My point is how can I tell who joined the meeting after enabling the access of the person who requested to join. I'm aware that, when a person requests access to a meeting and the access is granted, the person's name will appear among the other meeting attendees after they join; however, how can one tell who has just joined the meeting? In other words, since currently the identity of the person who requests to join the meeting won't be available to the organizer/presenter when they request to join an ongoing meeting, is it expected that the new version/update of the App, at least, offer a notification of the person who joined after they were granted access (e.g., John Davies [or any name] has just joined the meeting)? In my opinion, the point I'm raising here has important implications when it comes to the privacy of any meeting and its content because the way the current App is structured doesn't allow the organizer to control who can or cannot join a meeting. Hi GoToMeeting Team, I'm writing to express some frustration with the current version of the application. As a host, I frequently need to share a specific application window during meetings. However, unlike the previous version, the current setup does not allow associated pop-up or option windows from that application to be visible to attendees. This limitation seriously impacts my ability to present effectively. The workaround provided by support—to share my entire screen—is not a viable solution. Doing so would violate my company’s privacy policy, as it may inadvertently display and record confidential information. Being able to have multiple windows from the same application visible while sharing is critical to our workflow. Please consider restoring this functionality or providing an alternative that maintains both usability and compliance with privacy requirements. Thank you for your attention to this matter.50Views0likes3CommentsAllow the Organizer to edit Attendees names during the meeting
Hello, I am currently utilizing Go To desktop App with the following version(s): Windows states version 4.15.0, whereas the client about section states version 0.156.0. When hosting meetings, there are instances where participants fail to name themselves properly, or provide invalid display names. When I view the People pane, I can see the three dots options per person in the call. When I select the options for my own name, I see an option to "Edit name & email". However, there is no equivalent option to rename any other participant in the call. I am needing to ability as the host of the call to edit the names of each participant so as to not have to stall a call to draw attention to persons to adjust their own names.40Views0likes4Comments
