Safari support needed for GoToWebinar Webcasts - join in browser
I've been told by GoTo support staff that live webinars are no longer supported while using Safari. This is happening since the recent update on Aug 7, 2025. The developers need to update the GoTo Webinar software to support Mac computer users. I have been using GoTo for several years without this being a problem on Mac computers, so for the developers to just drop support for one of the primary web browsers is simply ridiculous.11Views0likes2CommentsStop attendee screen from changing size
It's so irritating when the Presenter... probably is using a two or three monitor setup switches to another screen to present content... and it blows all over the attendee screen... When capturing a webinar and the presenter does this... it blow way past the capture screen. If you are capturing 1/4 of the full screen and this happens... all of a sudden, you are losing 75% of the presented material... Support says there is NO WAY to stop this bad behavior... hence this request. As far as I can tell... no other webinar software has this bad behavior. Please give attendees control so the presenters screens always come in at the identical size.8Views0likes2CommentsAvatar for Panelists During a Webcast
Is there anyway to use avatars for Panelists during a Webcast? Some of our panelists would rather not be on camera, but audience members have expressed concern in not knowing exactly who is speaking during presentations. Is there a way for the Panelist to have an avatar that appears above the presentation when they are speaking? And then of course switch to another Panelist's avatar when they start talking?18Views0likes2CommentsThe planned maintenance on March 22 and 29 does not allow the creation of virtual events
Unfortunately, creating virtual events beyond March 22 is not possible due to the scheduled maintenance on March 22 and 29. I can understand that events cannot be started or joined on those days, but what I find incomprehensible is that the maintenance prevents scheduling a virtual event for any future date. In my company, we use the virtual event format because it allows us to have a single registration URL where all online sessions are planned until the end of the year. After numerous emails to technical support, I have not received a satisfactory solution, and I have had to create the virtual event on Zoom instead.15Views0likes1Comment
