LogMeIn Network Error with Amazon Fire 11 tablet

The app downloads and opens fine. But when I attempt to connect to my host computer, I get the error message "Network Error" It seems for just a brief second it tries to connect, then I get this error.

    JeanC42 Unfortunately, it appears the Amazon App Store version was last updated 8 years ago which is most likely why it does not work correctly. Potentially, you could sideload the Google Play Store on your tablet and install our current Android App.

    Hi - I downloaded it from the Amazon app store.  And yes I use my LogMeIn account on my home computer to access my work computers. All of my available computers appear on the list, but when I select one it says Network Error.

    Hi JeanC42, welcome to the community.

     

    A couple of questions for you:

    • Did you download the LMI app from the Amazon app store or do you have the Google Play Store sideloaded on your Fire tablet?
    • Have you connected successfully on this same network using a different device?
