- Matt K110 years agoNew Member@Luke - we have hidden comments turned OFF by default. so works as we want in the web app, but with the ios app we have to ensure we click 'hide comment' before we add a comment. So it seems the app does not inherit the web app settings in that regard.

- Braiden110 years agoNew MemberCan I please get an invite?
- Luke Grimstrup10 years agoRetired GoTo ContributorThanks for the feedback guys.
@Jon, @Sandro - you should receive invites tomorrow. We can get your email addresses out of GetSat.
@Matt - More control over notifications is definitely a challenge we will tackle in later versions of the app and was something we did cut from the v1 scope. Out of interest, do you have 'hidden comments by default' turned on within the web app? Or is this something that's specific to using the app when mobile? - Jon Snow10 years agoNew MemberI'm still waiting for an invite too.
I wonder if Luke needs our email or something else to invite us. - Bcshay10 years agoActive ContributorI did. The app is lovely.
- Sandro Summa110 years agoNew MemberNot got the invitation.. :-(
- Jon Snow10 years agoNew MemberHello Luke,
Can you please add me to the beta group?
Thank you! - Matt K110 years agoNew MemberJust got it installed. One thing we don't like is that when adding comments to an incident, by default the 'customer notification' is ON. Realizing this will probably be a selectable option eventually but it would be nice if this would be OFF by default. Other than that, looks good! Great to have this ability on our iphones.
- Luke Grimstrup10 years agoRetired GoTo ContributorThe iOS App is now ready for beta testing! I believe most of the people on this thread got an invite from TestFlight to try out the app. If I left anyone out and you want early access to the app, please just reply to this comment and I'll get you added to the beta group.
The initial version of the app will allow users to:
- View a list of incidents
- Choosing the service
- Filtering the list even further by selecting dashboard queues
- Viewing the details of an incident
- See key information such as customer details, symptom and resolution
- View the discussion
- View other attributes on an incident such as the type, category as well as any additional custom fields.
- Updating an incident
- Update attributes such as type, category.
- Change the status, resolve, and close an incident
- Add comments to an incident
- Also, the ability to create an incident requiring just a little bit of information
This is just the first version and there will be many more following the release in the app store. Moving forward the team will be targeting monthly updates to the app. The following releases will include iterations based on your feedback, and other key features such as push notifications, supporting other record types, and iPad support.
