Unable to end client session

Last week I started a logmein rescue session with a client.  However, despite disconnecting the session, rebooting both machines (mine and his) the rescue box keeps popping up on his laptop.  Both devices are Windows 10

We can end it in task manager but it keeps restarting

 

Any ideas?

    My issues is resolved but a simple reboot didn't resolve this issue

    I needed to remove some registry entries that related to the open session

    Ralf_CT  A problem of this magnitude often indicates a larger issue with the OS itself.  Typically rebooting the affected machine will clear a lot of this behavior up.

    Nobody replied?  The lack of responses to valid questions leaves me wondering if the LogMeIn path will not create more problems then I hope to solve, especially on a customer's machine.
