GotoAssist v5 - Double Click on slow bandwidth connections doesn't work

Hi there!

Sometimes, on a poor bandwidth connection, I am not able to submit a "double click" to remote Windows PCs. Instead, two single clicks arrive at the remote machine. While trying to enter a folder I end up renaming that folder.  What to do?

Adjusting the double click speed on the experts PC didn't change anything. Adjusting on the remote PC changes to a little better. Unfortunately I cannot change dozends or hundreds of remote PCs - the users wouldn't agree!

:fixing the bandwidth issues would be the ideal solution

Great! I'll forward your advice to the only available internet company in my town. 😉

    Thx.

Woly I would try the experts PC, since that is where the direction is coming. Please note, I have not experienced this or tested this, so I can't verify that it's a solution.

It does seem that fixing the bandwidth issues would be the ideal solution.

    Hi Woly

If you have a poor connection, please ensure you meet the system requirements.

If you are using Windows, you may also want to try adjusting the double click speed. To do this, Go to the Control Panel -> Mouse -> Double-click speed. Try lowering the double-click speed so that Windows has a larger time window to recognize a double-click.
