Caller ID while on the phone.

Hi I have a customer who says their phones don't show caller ID while they're on the phone.
I just tested it myself and noticed it does the same for me.

Is there a setting we can change? I could have swore that the phones used to show caller ID when I was on the phone.

  • has anyone figured out a reliable way to show who's calling while you're already on a call? I’ve been toying with some settings in the admin portal but can’t seem to make it consistent across all devices. Curious if this ever got resolved or if there's a workaround I’m missing.

    Thank you. I don't believe there is a setting required, it is more dependent on the ID being provided. Our support team should be able to tell more by looking at the logs for your customer's account. I will create a support ticket for you.

    NateC2k Thanks for clarifying. It sounds like you are using desktop phones and not the softphone, what is the make an model of the phones?

    That's for outgoing calls.  I'm talking about incoming calls.  If we're currently on the phone, and someone else calls all I can see is the lines blinking...the caller ID doesn't show anything.
