Go To Chat feature

Hi. My organization is new to Go To. The internal chat feature is essential to our team of four to stay connected. The problem is that we don't know when we get a message. On some of our computers, a red number appears in the Go To icon on the bottom of our screen. It doesn't on others. And, there's no chime. We've been trying to figure this out with no success. Has anyone experienced this? Please advise. Thank you!

    Thank  you for your reply. I appreciate it. I will certainly submit a suggestion regarding the chime alert. 

    With regard to the red numbered notifications, we all have the same laptop -- Lenova ThinkPad and GoTo application versions -- and our notifications are turned on for phone, chat, etc., but the red number notifications are inconsistent. I receive them regularly, one of my team receives them for chat/message, but not phone calls and another never receives a red number. 

    One of my team will review with the product manager when the call is set up.

    Regarding the chime alert: This has been a feature request from users, but it hasn't been prioritized for development yet. I’d encourage you to submit your suggestion in our Ideas section so our team can track interest and consider it for future updates.

    As for the red numbered notification on the GoTo icon—it indicates something that needs your attention (like a new message, missed call, or voicemail). It's unusual that some of your team members don’t see it consistently. This could be related to differences in device type, notification settings, or application versions. Could provide more details about the specific computers, their OS, and how often this issue occurs? It would help. 

    Additionally, would your team be interested in a brief call with our Product Manager? This would be a great opportunity to provide feedback directly and discuss how these notification features could better support your workflow. I've sent you a DM.
