Can a "pre-show" video or powerpoint be shown to attendees who log in early?
We would like to have something interactive running as people log in - something more than "your meeting will start shortly". Is there functionality to show something engaging without actually starting the meeting?
We do this in every session. Log in as the organizer on each device. Open the session, and show the screen and put the slide show in slide show mode that has been timed and set up as a show. Run it, but do not "START the broadcast." Let it run until you are ready to start the broadcast. When you are ready to start the live broadcast, close the show and present as you normally do.

Besides a PowerPoint show as Fran described, you could also show a video. The sound from the video will NOT be heard by the Attendees until you Start the Broadcast.
