Hi AlexCSI
Welcome to the Community and thanks for your feedback, it is currently being shared with the team.
Please note: The classic version of GoTo Webinar has always been available, and customers can switch between the classic and new versions anytime through their GoTo Webinar dashboard. Currently, there is no set date for removing the classic version, but we will keep the community updated if anything changes.
I tried starting a scheduled webinar using both the classic and new versions, and in both cases, I was prompted to log in before I could speak to others or start the broadcast. If I’m missing any steps, please let me know.
You are given the option in the new version to dismiss hands individually or lower all hands as an organizer in the upper left hand corner of the webinar.
It does seem that if you have a large amount of attendees you will have to scroll through to see all of them. However, I did not notice a lag when the attendee window loaded or for hand raising. Is this something you saw while scrolling?
You may also want to try a quick 10 minute live Q&A with one of our experts. Here, the team can directly assist with feature questions, product functionality, and best practices. You can schedule a time here.
Thanks again for your valuable feedback and please let keep us informed on how your webinars are going.

I have switched back to the classic version and today's webinar had no issues. I was able to start the broadcast from my phone, the audio quality was better for the attendees, I could see all attendees on the dashboard, I could easily tell who had questions, and I was able to record the session.
Earlier in the week I was not able to switch back to the classic version. There were no options available to do so and when I contacted support (to GoTo's credit I was able to get live support), I was told there was no way to go back to the classic version. After three days of awful webinars, the option to switch back finally was made available to me again.
I know the classic version won't be around forever, but if there is going to be another forced switch to the new version, it is important to inform users so we can do the proper testing. Finding out that a product barely works 10 minutes before you are forced to use it is not a desirable outcome.
Thank you for looking into the issues.
