I had the same problem to an iMac host... had to enable permissions in Privacy for Recording Screen/Logmein

Thanks Timmyz. I did find another option. After installing LMI, I enabled several components in the security/privacy settings. Such as Logmein, LMIGUIAgent, LogMeIn Client, LogMeIn Control Panel, LogMeIn Menubar & LogMeIn Diagnostics
After that it has been working great

Allowing recording was the key, I had same problem when updating Mac to Catalina 10.15.6
