GoToConnect Verified SMS/Voice Capabiites

The GoToConnect platform is lagging behind many other platforms in terms of implementation of technologies like: Verified Calls or Verified SMS.  This technology is obviously building on the capabilities of the Stir-Shaken Protocol for messaging/voice verification. GoTo Connect's partner Bandwidth supports much of these capabilities already as indicated here.  Does anyone know if GoTo Connect will be expanding capabilities to support this sort of technology in the near future?

Re: GoToConnect Verified SMS/Voice Capabiites

Hi @brandonbell

Thanks for brining this up.

We do currently rely on peers to verify calls, though in the future we should be able to do this ourselves.

Verified SMS is unrelated to stir/shaken protocols, as it is a proprietary process that Google has built on top of RCS. It currently works for Android users on Google’s messaging app only.  While we don’t currently support RCS or verification through Google, it is something we are considering for future development.
