We are a software development unit and we often use GotoMeeting as a collaboration tool. Two users often work together for a long time. In the past - when we didn't have such stupid things as Corona - everyone sat in the same hallway. The only way to close the current meeting is to click 'ignore'  so I can end the current meeting and then click on the 'lock' icon to unlock the meeting. I tried to move the box with my cursor but that did not work. If the box to announce 'a new attendee is waiting to join the meeting' would appear elsewhere on the screen, I could  close out my current meeting and then use that box to have the next person enter their meeting. Sometimes people show up for the wrong meeting but I am already in a meeting with someone else.  I have to maintain privacy so I cannot unlock the meeting to tell the person they are at a wrong day/time. When a presenter is in share screen mode, all participant screens should automatically transition to hide everyone so the shared screen fills the meeting space. In the current application, everyone is visible so the shared screen is small and illegible. The whole intent of share screen is for everyone to see the presenter's screen, read any text, and clearly discern any graphics. This is the way Join.me worked. This is the way Zoom works. GoTo Meeting needs to catch up asap and not burden users who are not GoTo Meeting experts with having to figure out how to see the shared screen.   Currently, top and bottom controls take up approximately 20% of screen height which means screen real estate for the shared screen is 64%. Controls should be very small so share screen real estate is maximized. Best would be to combine the top and bottom controls into a single control bar.  When GoTo Meeting is in share screen mode it needs to be optimzed for shared screen visibility. Please let us mute individuals during a meeting. This is not the same as muting that person for everyone in the meeting but just for the person doing the muting. This prevents two people who are next to each other in a meeting from hearing an echo of each other ... View more

Having a built in dark mode option for the Go To Meeting website application and desktop application would be very useful. For me, I have sensitive eyes, so the the bright backgrounds can cause issues for me.    With the web  application I have tried utilizing different chrome extensions to give it a dark mode and unfortunately haven't found any that work well across this and my other daily web applications. ... In the old gotomeeting client, there was a tool for pausing your screenshare. The participants would see your pausing screen without any indication that the screen was paused. This feature was unique to gotomeeting and was one of the only reason we stuck with gotomeeting. It's very disappointing to see that this was removed in the new goto client. Currently when I record my session and then later download the transcript I find that after every sentance I get listed as the speaker.  Could you please list the speakers name ONLY when the speaker changes. Example: if I am the only one thats speaks during the session the transcript would list my name hundreds of times instead of only once.    As a solution: when it is about to add the speaker name refer to the last time a speaker name was shown then if that speaker is the same as the one before then skip adding it again.  Then only when a speaker changes will the speaker name show up.   ... I notice when I join a meeting the only change on the attendee screen is a small blue button at the bottom right. Can't something be more prominent to let people know I have arrived?   Secondly Can I place a message on the screen in the waiting room, To Call Me at a certain phone number if meeting has not started?   REASON FOR THIS Many times I have to be glued to my computer to check if anyone has arrived.  And some miss their meetings so I am waiting needlessly.  Instead I can busy myself doing other things and if my phone rings then I know someone is there and can open the meeting.   That way no one is wasting anyone's time. ... I used the new fangled desktop app experience with a customer for the first time today. I was frustrated to find that the ability to request guest screen share and guest mouse control from the contextual menu next to the guest's name was absent. I wasted a lot of time in the meeting as a result! I spoke to tech support who told me this functionality is coming but is not yet available in the new app. I don't recall this reduced functionality being made clear upfront anywhere and I don't recall being given a warning. There appears to be no audio test possible.   My experience with U-Connect Bluetooth Audio (Jeep) I tested my connection by playing an MP3 audio file from my phone.  Audio worked fine.   My meeting started, no audio.  I turned on and off the speaker.  It worked from the speaker on the phone, but not bluetooth.   Finally I turned off Bluetooth on the phone and reconnected.  This is slow.  Took at least two minutes. Then I had audio.  Why is there no audio test?  This is not a very good application. ... View more

People in our higher management often have a management team that is handling their schedule and is responsible for planning all meetings in a shared Outlook Calendar. So if a member of the management team that has planned a meeting is on holiday, another member of the team sometimes needs to edit the meeting, e.g. add a co-organizer or change the schedule.   I was told this isn't possible when the team members are co-organizers, so I would propose to either extend the co-organizer role or add another type of shared membership, maybe something more akin to shared calendars in Outlook. ... The video transcription tool does not understand all the words and makes many mistakes.I wonder if I can correct and edit the transcripts on the site itself (where the text is synchronized with the video) or is this only possible by downloading and editing the text on my computer.   @ariadnenatal   I'm afraid you cannot currently edit the GoTo transcript yourself.  I will move this into the 'Ideas' section for later enhancement possibilities.  ... We would appreciate the ability to set parallel audio channels for simultaneous translations in other languages. It would be helpful for the ability to flip you camera without going 2 levels down into the camera button.   Also it would help if the host can flip the camera for the attendees (maybe they will see a pop up to approve) ... View more
