Hi,
My computer is slowing down enormously, up to the point that with webcam and screen share, I can’t do anything else.
As a more general statement, it’s very slow even though I’ve minimized all the settings (no more effects, startup programs, more virtual memory…)
All my driver are up-to-date, the same behavior happen as much on wifi as wired and it's worse when I'm on the battery.
With other similar soft, like zoom, I don't have this kind of issue.
Is there something you can do to help me?
Hi @gabe012 ,
Sorry, could you specify exactly which Surface model number you are using, and the current operating system version?
Are you currently presenting from this device? If so, what materials or applications do you have running in the background?
Hi
Here's the model: Microsoft Surface Pro 4/12.3/Core-i5/8GB/SSD256Go
Windows 10 enterprise 64bits 1703 (15063.1563) I'll do the os update, I thought I was up-to-date on this.
I'm not currently presenting.
Regards
@gabe012 OK, Gabe-- another option if your Surface tablet is still running slow might be the GoToMeeting Web App: https://support.logmeininc.com/gotomeeting/help/about-the-web-app-g2m030003
Ok, I'll try it and let you know how it was.
Even on the webapp, still run slow.
And now the surface is up tu date windows 10 1809 and firmware 108.2318.769.0
Same issue here and it's been happening for months. Dell Latitude E7450 with Intel i5
Task Manager shows system interrupts flooding the processor intermittently. Fan kicks on and stays on. G2M consistently utilizing 50% - 60% of the GPU. Does not occur with Zoom or with Teams so doubt it is a driver issue or a hardware problem. This appears to be a GoToMeeting application issue.
I'm looking at migrating the company off of the platform to Zoom if we can't get this resolved.
any assistance appreciated,
Eric
Hi @DenverEric ,
Can you confirm the operating system version in use there?
Are you screen sharing as well as connecting to audio via VoIP?
Thank you for the reply AshC. Windows 10. I do audio over my cell phone with PIN to try to minimize bandwidth.
I saw another poster was able to pull logs. That might be helpful but I've never done it.
I'm also going to uninstall/reinstall the application.
thanks,
Eric
Has anyone gotten a response on this? I have the same model same configuration of Surface and performance and Sound Quality on GoToMeeting Web is aweful compared to when I am using other web meeting products.
