Re: My computer crashes while using gotomeeting.

BTW... i tried the troobleshoot for sound and it does not work. Windows 10 enterprise does not have the same settings for sound and also gotomeeting was working fine for the last year or so until a month ago, did not change the browser or any settings.

Re: My computer crashes while using gotomeeting.

Hi Math,

Can you please visit https://www.asus.com/Laptops/K501UB/HelpDesk_Download/ and check to see if there are any video or audio driver updates available for your laptop? If there are, please install them.

Re: My computer crashes while using gotomeeting.

I have the same problem with a ASUS laptop and I followed the link using my own model type and I have to pay for the audio driver update which doesn't seem right as I bought the laptop less than 12 mths ago

Re: My computer crashes while using gotomeeting.

i still have the same issue....
i couldn't find if any drivers were missing or out of date so i purchased DriverWhiz which found an audio driver an updated it. i thought this might be it but it froze again. i looked into my event viewer and i add a 'CldFlt service failed', so i did the troobleshoot for that and it crashed again this morning and always during a gotomeeting session.

Re: My computer crashes while using gotomeeting.

i will continue to look into my event viewer and try to associate the freeze to an event and troubleshoot it, i will keep sending updates until this is fixed and please do the same if you find anything. thank you !

Re: My computer crashes while using gotomeeting.

You definitely should not have to pay for any driver updates.  Make sure you are going directly / only to the manufacturer in question.
Feel free to give us a call to troubleshoot this directly from the problem PC:  http://support.citrixonline.com/en_US/meeting/phone

Based on the provided information I understand that the unit crashes when using a specific programme.
Please be advised that there may be software issues that are causing this and you should update your drivers to the latest versions, available here:

Please click on each one (one at a time) and save/download the respective drivers. After they are downloaded, please go to the folder where they will be saved and extract them one at a time(right click - extract). If you simply double click the file that is downloaded, it will ask you to purchase the archive application(winrar).
This should create new folders containing some files, please click on the setup or setup.exe file to install the respective driver.
In case the drivers do not solve your issues, I kindly ask you to follow the steps below to do a system reset to factory settings. Please be advised that in order to increase the success of this solution, all data on it will need to be deleted. Therefore please do a backup on an external storage drive beforehand if possible. Also you might need to reinstall the drivers above after the reset procedure is finished.
Steps for resetting your pc:
1. Turn on your pc
2. Click on the start (windows)button on the lower left and then select the cogwheel(settings).
3. Go to Update & Security and select the Recovery tab; from there please select the "Reset this PC" option.
4. After a short loading time, you should be prompted with some questions in order to determine how to proceed. The recommended options are as follows:
-remove everything
-clean all the drives
-do not keep my files
5. After a 1-3h process the original windows along with the factory settings will be applied to your pc.

Re: My computer crashes while using gotomeeting.

My ASUS computer crashes while using go to meeting after about 10 minutes if I use computer audio. If I use phone audio it doesn't crash. I have been trouleshooting with ASUS and Go to Meeting. Does anyone know the root cause of this issue and how to fix it?
