Plugin for Outlook/Office 365 not working

A few weeks ago, the GoToMeeting plugin for Outlook stopped working.

I'm on plugin version 1.1.5 from Office add-on store and I'm running Mac OS X 10.14.6.

When I'm opening the side panel, I get the following message:

Scheduling not available

Your appointment can't be scheduled because Outlook isn't responding. Please try again later.

Outlook Error code:
5001 - Internal error

Has anyone else experienced this issue? I've tried deleting the plugin and reinstalling. I'm running the newest Outlook version on Office 365.

Re: Plugin for Outlook/Office 365 not working

Hi @hoegenhaug ,

Sorry for the difficulty there.

We did make a recent change for Mac OS environments, where the previous 'Mac Scheduler' was replaced by the Office 365 plugin: https://support.logmeininc.com/gotomeeting/help/install-gotomeeting-in-outlook-for-mac-g2m010030

I would try to update this version on your Mac, before rebooting and testing a new schedule again.

Hi @AshC,
I already did that, I believe. I installed it from Outlook’s Add-on Store.

Did you update or change mail servers before the error started occurring?

I believe we switched to SSO a couple of weeks ago. Could that be the issue? It says it’s logged in when I click at the cog wheel icon.

Yes, it sounds like there is some kind of authentication issue there.  I know you've already reinstalled the plugin, so it would have to be a problem when connecting out of your local area network.

I tried on several different networks, including our company ethernet.

Is there a log somewhere that I could look at?

Re: Plugin for Outlook/Office 365 not working

I've tried deleting Outlook's add-in cache, still no luck.

I've also enabled web inspection, so now I can see the actual console and errors it gives. These are the two errors.

"Der opstod en intern fejl" means "An internal error occurred".

I also just tested in Outlook Online, where it works just fine.
