Recording skipping
I have a user who when recording the meeting and sharing their screen encounters an issue where the recording will skip and be much shorter than it should be. This seems to happen when they share their screen and open up the program "NoMachine" to RDP into a linux based machine. The issue occurs even if someone else is the one sharing their screen and this user is recording. The recording could be ~10 minutes in total, with the size of the recording file being big enough to reflect that. The actual recording (after converting or playing as a .wmv) is only ~30 seconds and while the audio and video sounds correct it skips over multiple sections of the recording.
Are there any known issues/bugs with certain programs or protocols when using Gotomeeting?
Hi Wgoods1
It does sound like the remote desktop connection may be confusing some of the recording attempts there. Do you notice any difference if you switch to cloud recording?
Is the main system hosting / recording the session a Windows machine?

Can you try making another participant co-organizer while in session in order to create a separate recording on a different PC for the same meeting?

Thank you for the tip but both converting it and changing the original to a .wmv yield the same results of the skipping/shortened meeting.

Good morning Ash,
Unfortunately we do not utilize the cloud recording feature.
The system hosting / recording the meeting is running Windows 10 Pro. The machine that is sharing its screen and doing the RDP is also Windows 10 Pro. The host/recorder doesn't notice any issues during the meeting, it is only present in the recording. and just to clarify - The Host is only recording the meeting, a different user is sharing their screen and doing the RDP.

There are a few possible reasons why you can't find your recording. WestPennPower
- The recording might not have been converted yet. See How do I convert meeting recording? (Classic) to learn more about opening the Recording Manager and converting your raw file.
- The recording might have been mislocated. If you did not change the default location, you should be able to find your recording in your Documents folder. See How do I locate my recordings? (Classic) to learn more about how your recording files are stored.
