GoToMYPC does not blank screen

Hello:

Hardware: HP ProDesk

OS: Windows 10 Pro (Windows 10 22H2  OS.19045.3271)

All updates are installed

 

GoToMyPC version 2023.06.3786

 

It used to blank the monitor. Not anymore.

Any assistance or recommendations appreciated.

Do you recall installing any software updates or new software recently?

Just Windows 10 updates only. No new software is installed.

I see that screenblanking is disabled for you. It's either disabled by your IT administrator or by you on host application.

Please turn it on ( here's how you can do it :https://support.logmeininc.com/gotomypc/help/how-do-i-enable-screen-blanking ) or reach out to your account admin.

Hi Abishek:

In Preferences >Security> under Security Features, Blank Out screen while connected option in enabled. ( this was working for more than 5 years.) Now it stopped working.

Note: I am the system administrator.

Any other thoughts?

Hi @Alexander Thazh,

 

Can you please check that the new screen blanking method is enabled?

 

Right-click the GoToMyPC icon in your system tray.

  1. Go to Preferences.
  2. Make sure you are on the Host tab.
  3. Check the box next to Enable new screen blanking feature.
  4. Your next session should now use the new Screen Blanking feature.
