Kaspersky security pop-up can't be cleared remotely and nothing else can be accessed until it is.

Remote computer has Kaspersky on it. When logging in today there was a pop-up stating there is a certificate issue with Outlook. "Invalid name of certificate". Unfortunately, I cannot click either option on the pop-up (Disconnect/Continue) remotely.  I can't do ANYTHING else on the computer. I must deal with this popup before it will let me continue.  I will need to get someone in the building where this computer is located to click the option. Which may mean giving them the password to the computer so they can get in and access the pop-up. How can I make this not happen?

Re: Kaspersky security pop-up can't be cleared remotely and nothing else can be accessed until it is

Hi @Pun1, welcome to the community.

Unfortunately, I have seen this in the past with other security software where they block any kind of remote interaction with their UI, it is meant to prevent a 'hacker' from remotely disabling your PC's security.

If you do not have GoToMyPC configured to blank your screen while you are connected, you could connect to the Host and then have someone in the building go and dismiss the pop-up for you. If screen blanking is enabled and you are unable to access the Host Preferences to disable it (because of the pop-up), I'm afraid you would need to share your password and then change it as soon as you have control of your PC again.
