Used it with clients just, and was a dreadful experience!!
Dreadful experience today with just 1 delegate, what will it be like with 8 on the bandwidth, lagging, refreshing, slow speed and disrupted audio!
1. Audio distorted when with same delegates last week no issues on the old platform.
2. Huge delays when sharing my screen (again no issues last week) was not our fibre optics, and last week was fine (all training we done is on cloud based solutions),
3. When I gave mouse control to a delegate it did not work on my excel spreadsheet.
4. Dreadful experience, wasted over a third of the session on lagging and speed moving through the training.
5. Happy to feedback in the platform with my email address, but the submit button was greyed out (striked out in red so could not submit) A bit of a shambles!!
When will this improve as really not fit for purpose. Next time they want to use teams or zoom!
I absolutely concur with everything said here!
My attendees were not impressed with this so-called 'new' experience. There were sound issues and real problems with viewing polls and tests as the answers were displayed in a one-line box and they had to use up and down arrows to view all the options! I know this is true as I also had a colleague join the session to see what the attendees saw - this is very poor GTT, very poor! Thank goodness you can switch back to the classic version which I have done.
GoTo, please don't make the mistake of thinking that you have to follow other providers' format in an attempt to look 'whizzy' - your strength was in the stability and simplicity of the classic system.
Very disappointed 😞
Thank you @Jane_Moore - so pleased it is not just me although I would prefer GotoTraining to understand the reason why so many users preferred the classic GTT, above Zoom and Teams... is that it was perfect for trainers and delegates alike. I agree totally, it does not need to be the same, that is why it is distinct from the rest.
Please listen to the suggested changes, before making us use it.
So just to check @Jane_Moore - we can definitely go back to the classic without any issues - as I will lose clients if I don't move back after todays dreadful performance again.
See my earlier post on inability to be able to request mouse control before you give presenter rights, and when we did give the delegate presenter rights (as we absolutely need to involve them on their systems, they were soooo confused with the big black screen which takes up all of their screen too) and navigation. Even choosing the screens was confusing them.
I will be moving back if not causing any issues - thanks Jane for heads up.
I have switched back and I understand that some features will no longer work under the Classic interface:
I personally think this is a price worth paying! I don't use breakout rooms and I can email attendees afterwards with any materials, however, WE SHOULDN'T have to compromise!
It's also interesting to note that some features are not available in the 'new experience' so we've been seen off on both counts. I saw a matrix the other day showing what's available and not available but I can't find it again - I will post it if I do.

Here's the link to the matrix I referred to.

Thank you @Jane_Moore - much appreciated.
That matrix needs updating with requesting mouse control at the same time as giving presenter rights as they cant give you mouse control if not sharing contacts, unless I just missed it
I totally agree - it is like a double whammy but I will probably move back, as I don't use break out rooms at the moment and worth the losing materials for now.
Thanks again.
Eileen
1000% agree to the above
In addition, we have ALL of our courses using the on-screen drawing tools. It is now nearly impossible to use them, forcing us to rewrite our courses. This has been a part of GoTo for the last (at least) 10 years and now gone.
We will be going back and also looking for a new platform that supports functionality that we need.
@corbcf Can you please provide some details about the issues you have using the drawing tools?
For the last 10 years I have been able to easily give access to all students the ability to draw on the screen. It is the foundation for many of our interactions.
Since the upgrade, I now how have to grant each student access individually, then individually turn each one back off. If I am not mistaken I also can't have more than one person drawing at a time. This is not feasible for classes with 20 people in them.
Really can't understand why the functionality would go backwards.
